Applicants must work in a CFCCC member's lab or have participated in one of our Cancer Research Training & Education Coordination (CRTEC) programs to be eligible to apply. Application Procedure Applications are initially screened for eligibility by CFCCC Research Administration before being reviewed by the respective Program Leaders. Incomplete applications will be returned for completion prior to further evaluation. Applicants selected for membership will receive a confirmation email. Please allow up to four weeks for the Trainee Membership review process. APPLY NOW Who is eligible? Must be a UC Irvine student (undergraduate, graduate, or medical), postdoctoral scholar, resident, or fellow engaged in cancer research or oncology-focused clinical training. Must work in a CFCCC member’s lab or have participated in a Cancer Research Training & Education Coordination (CRTEC) program. Must designate a mentor who is a current CFCCC member and obtain their consent before listing them in the application. What three Research Programs can I choose from? The CFCCC currently operates three Research Programs to provide a collaborative infrastructure for cancer discovery, clinical investigation, and population-based research. Applicants should select a Research Program on their application that aligns with their mentor’s (i.e. CFCCC member's) affiliation.
