These teams help raise awareness and funds for pilot studies and early-phase clinical trials that support cancer research at the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC). Home Research Team Funds Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center Team Funds UCI academic departments, divisions and units take part in the UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge (ACC) by creating teams of cancer research trainees like those listed below. In return, the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center directs some of the Anti-Cancer Challenge funds to help support the cancer research careers of the trainees. Funding is used to pay for professional symposium entrance fees, publication manuscript costs and much more. The ACC is usually held in June every year and team funds are awarded in December or January of the next year.
