Cancer Health Disparity Research and Interventional Studies

The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (CFCCC) is accepting applications for the Cancer Health Disparity Research and Interventional Studies funding opportunity. Up to 3 awards will be issued for budgets up to $200,000 per year for two years. The estimated funding period is February 1, 2024 - January 31, 2026. Applications are due December 22, 2023. A1 Bridge Funding

This A1 Bridge funding opportunity aims to support promising cancer research projects that have the potential to significantly impact cancer treatment, diagnosis, prevention, and improve patient outcomes. The research must have strong cancer-relevance; basic, clinical, and population research are all acceptable. The bridge funding is intended to provide financial support to allow investigators to resubmit their NIH grant applications for further consideration. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge Pilot Projects

The UCI Anti-Cancer Challenge is an annual ride, run, and walk that raises funds to support cancer-related pilot studies and early phase clinical trials that have been shown to improve quality of life and save lives.
